Dr. Nnanna Orieke

Principal Program Manager – Insights and Analytics - Microsoft

Dr. Nnanna Orieke is a highly accomplished IT professional with over 15 years of experience in Artificial Intelligence (AI), research, and software development. His career goal is to leverage technology to benefit humanity, promoting diversity and inclusion, and providing individuals and organizations with a platform for innovation and transformation.

As a principal program manager for insights and analytics at Microsoft Engineering, he is responsible for developing the vision, strategy, business requirements, and end-to-end development of data driven insights to grow Microsoft’s business. Over his 15 years’ experience, he has worked with big data technologies and currently holds certifications in IoT, data science, AI, data management and analytics.

He holds a Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Lagos, and an M.Sc. in Systems Engineering. Furthermore, he has a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Electrical Electronics Engineering from the Federal University of Technology Owerri, where he earned the distinction of being the best graduating student.

Dr. Orieke is a member of professional organizations including the Nigeria Society of Engineers (NSE), Nigeria Institute of Electrical Electronics Engineers (NIEEE), and Institute of Electrical Electronics Engineers (IEEE). He is happily married to Barr. Ada Orieke and is a proud father of two daughters Jane and Somma.
