Africa’s biggest art collector, Prince Yemisi Shyllon has built this beautiful museum with more than 1000 pieces of art from his own collection. It is a 1.5 hour drive from the venue of the conference, but definitely worth the trip.

Nike Art Gallery


For years the number 1 place to visit in Lagos according to TripAdvisor, Nike Art Gallery is an art gallery in Lekki, Lagos, owned by the famous Madame Nike Davies-Okundaye. The gallery is arguably the biggest of its kind in West Africa as a five-storey building with an incredible collection of about 8,000 diverse artworks from various Nigerian artists. If you’re lucky, you might run run into Madame Nike herself!
