The African tech ecosystem is filled with stories of triumph, grit, and innovation. TechCabal is where those stories live. Since 2013, we have covered startup fundraises, exits and mergers, expansions, banking, and internet culture. We don't talk about just the companies, we talk to the people building them, including C-suite executives, product designers, and tech policy champs. We tell the stories of various players in the digital economy; in media, music, telecommunications, education, and more, providing a snapshot into key industries in Africa's tech and business ecosystem.
TechCabal brings together the founders, investors, regulators and players in Africa's tech industry; catalyzing action and providing the content, reporting, data and events to help the world understand where tech is taking Africa.
In 2023, we deepened our coverage in East Africa and South Africa, and altogether, reached over 1 million readers monthly.
In 2024, we continue to deepen our footprint across Africa, with stronger North African and Francophone coverage and increased depth in the regions we already cover.
