Jinmi O. is a global technology leader with more than 20 years of experience spanning telecommunications, connectivity, AI infrastructure, and large-scale technology delivery. He previously spent eight years at Meta, where he led infrastructure programmes across AI compute, data centres, connectivity, and platform-scale systems.

A pioneer in Africa’s digital infrastructure, Jinmi played a key role in delivering Nigeria’s first private submarine cable system, MainOne, and contributed to the country’s National Broadband Plan. His work has focused on expanding digital access and building technology infrastructure across Africa and global markets.

He is currently the Managing Director of Business Unusual LLC and Managing Partner at Naija Valley Ventures, where he invests in and supports founders building the next generation of technology companies while strengthening connections between Silicon Valley and Africa.
