Mohamed Aladdin is a General Partner at DPI Venture Capital, the venture arm of pan-African private equity firm Development Partners International, which he helped build alongside his partner Ashley Lewis. DPI Venture Capital advises the Nclude fund, a fintech-focused vehicle investing from seed to Series C across Egypt, the Middle East and Africa, and he oversees investments, portfolio management, fundraising and fund operations, sitting on several portfolio company boards.

Before DPI, he was a Principal at Dubai-based Global Ventures, leading early-stage investments across the Middle East and Africa. Earlier, he worked with corporate venture capital firms in Germany investing in growth-stage technology companies across the US and Europe, and later focused on emerging markets in Southeast Asia and Africa.

He describes himself as an operator-turned-investor, with a background spanning technology strategy, business development and product management.
