Emeka Emetarom is Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Qore, a banking-as-a-service and core banking infrastructure company. Qore automates end-to-end operations for financial institutions across Africa, powering digital banking, cards and alternative channels for banks, microfinance institutions and fintechs in multiple markets. The company was carved out of Appzone (now Zone), the pan-African fintech infrastructure group he co-founded with Obi Emetarom and Wale Onawunmi. Earlier in his career, he championed the development of RechargePlus, one of Nigeria’s early web and mobile airtime distribution services. In 2023, he was selected as an Endeavor Entrepreneur in recognition of his work scaling Qore. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from the Federal University of Technology, Owerri.
